Join us on the Famous Gallops of The Curragh with one of Ireland's top trainers.

Guests will be welcomed at Fox Covert Stables by Trainer, Johnny Murtagh and his wife Orla who will give you an insight into the daily training of the renowned Irish Thoroughbred. Your experience will consist of a warm Irish welcome upon arrival, jumping into the Jeep then following the horses across the famous Curragh Plains. Watch the horses whilst they carry out their morning exercise and listen to how leading trainer Johnny communicates with both his horses and riders.

You will be treated as an owner for the day and with this privilege comes a behind-the-scenes walk through Johnny's yard and stables. You will meet the horses and the staff that lovingly care for these athletes every single day.

Johnny and Orla will then invite you to join them for a homemade refreshments lunch served on the terrace or in line with Irish weather you will eat in the kitchen warming by the Aga - dogs and all!

Fox Covert stables are lucky enough to train on the Curragh which consists of over 30 miles of Gallops bringing all terrain types to our doorstep. Providing picturesque views throughout your entire experience. There is nothing as exciting or beautiful as watching these amazing horses gallop across the plains and follow their routine throughout the morning.
