This curated two-hour experience brings together two of County Kildare’s greatest passions - horse riding and classic Irish country pursuits - across 220 acres of rolling countryside at Abbeyfield Farm. Guests can choose from archery, clay pigeon shooting or target rifle shooting to complete their adventure.

Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed to the cherished home of Darragh and Gráinne O’Neill, a place where family life unfolds on horseback and where the bond between human, horse and nature is instinctive. In this rural haven alive with birdsong, everything is personal: 4 horses are matched with care, guidance is thoughtful and supportive, and every rider from first-timers to the confident is encouraged to feel calm, capable and connected.

Your one-hour ride leads through meadows, barley fields and cobbled lanes with sweeping views of the Dublin and Wicklow Hills, before ending on a high with your chosen country pursuit on the farm’s dedicated shooting range.
