Every racing legend has a beginning. At Rangers Lodge, on the legendary Curragh gallops, discover exactly what it takes to shape a raw, young thoroughbred into an elite athlete. Hosted by renowned horseman Richard Brabazon, this rare, behind-the-scenes experience invites you to walk the yard, feel the energy of the stables, and witness the very first stages of a racehorse’s education.

Set beside the world‑famous Curragh gallops, Rangers Lodge is where young horses learn the fundamentals that shape their careers. Watch the horses in action, and experience a place with over a century of history. A yard where graduates have excelled across Ireland, Britain, France, Japan, Hong Kong and Scandinavia.

Your visit closes on a warm, personal note in the Brabazon family’s 1880 home, over coffee, conversation and racing stories, before you depart with a keepsake horseshoe to mark an unforgettable experience.

Sustainability:
Rangers Lodge is proud to support the local circular economy as a local employer and actively recycles all horse bedding.

Accessibility:
