Meet Flash, Bailey and Blaze, the gentle Irish Cobs once trusted to pull cargo and carry families along rural roads. Step inside the traditional thatched cottage and forge to discover the blacksmith’s craft and the essential role horses played in everyday survival.

Continue to the mud‑walled Emigration Cottage, home to two friendly donkeys, Jack and Jenny. Often overlooked, the humble donkey was a best friend to working Irish families in the past. Out on the Bog of Allen, encounter the hardy Kerry Bog Ponies - Kerry and her foal Chocolate - and learn how these small but powerful ponies helped save the turf.

A boardwalk through restored peatlands leads to the tiny Falabella horses, whose gentle grazing helps biodiversity flourish. Conclude with an optional ride on Lullymore’s electric train - a memorable finale to a heritage journey celebrating the harmony between horse, nature and humankind.
