Who We Are
Horse Country is a trading name of THOROUGHBRED COUNTRY COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE (Registered No: 736873). We are a destination experience platform that connects visitors with some of Ireland’s most iconic and authentic visitor attractions. We operate as a booking and ticketing partner on behalf of various independently run venues and experiences across the country, from equine heritage tours and stud farms to cultural and countryside experiences.

Our role is to make it easy for individuals, families, and groups to discover, book, and enjoy these unique experiences through our website, www.horsecountry.ie. While we facilitate the booking process and handle customer support, each attraction is managed and operated by its own team on the ground.

What Information We Collect

Customer Enquiries
If you contact us via email or phone, we will receive the details you choose to share with us so that we can respond to your request. We do not record phone calls, and we do not pass your information to any external organisation. Your email enquiry may be stored securely on our system for follow-up, but we will remove it upon request.

If You Book With Us
When you make a booking through our website, your ticket is processed through our ticketing partner, PrioTicket. Payments are handled by AIB Bank. We do not store or have access to your payment card details at any stage of the process.

Who Will You Give My Personal Information To?
Once you complete a booking through Horse Country, we share only the essential details with the venue you've booked, this includes your name, phone number, email address, and booking reference ID. This allows the venue to prepare for your visit and confirm that a booking has been made under your name. We do not give any venue we work with permission to share or use your information for any purpose beyond delivering the experience you have booked.

Access To Your Personal Information
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, amend, or request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make such a request, simply email our Data Protection Officer at laura@horsecountry.ie

How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?
We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We review data annually to ensure that it is still relevant and necessary.

We will only store or transfer your personal data within Ireland and the European Economic Area (the “EEA”). The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
