STARTING POINT: THE MAKING OF A RACEHORSE

Every champion starts somewhere. Join horseman Richard Brabazon at Rangers Lodge on the Curragh and watch a young thoroughbred take its first steps in training. The morning finishes with coffee and racing stories in the family home, and a keepsake horseshoe to bring back. €45 per person.

History, heritage, and horsepower come together at the Irish National Stud & Gardens. ABBEYFIELD FARM ON HORSEBACK

Saddle up for a guided ride through 220 acres of Kildare countryside with the O'Neill family at Abbeyfield Farm. Horses are matched with care to every rider, from first timers to old hands, along cobbled lanes and open meadows with views of the Dublin and Wicklow hills. €95 per person.

The festival moves to The Curragh for four Group 1 races and almost €2.5 million in prize money. The Flying Five brings raw speed, the Moyglare Stud Stakes showcases next season's stars, and the Comer Group International Irish St Leger closes the Irish Classic year in style.
